Prairie Chicken House

I stumbled across Herb Greene‘s  once famous “Prairie House” (“Prairie Chicken House”) today.  Sad to see it overgrown with Cedars and looking somewhat dilapidated.  Here’s some photos of the house from the awesome architectural photographer Julius Shulman that originally appeared in Life Magazine in 1961 and a photo of mine from today.
